Indiana Flower & Patio Show

Stonycreek Farm will be returning to the 56th Annual Indiana Flower and Patio Show! The show takes place at the Indiana State Fairgrounds March 8th - 16th. We will be located at Garden #18 in the West Pavilion. This year we are taking advantage of the "personal space" theme and incorporating the rabbit-raising hobby of the owner of Stonycreek Farm. Our garden will feature miniature models of real barns right here on our farm that will house some of our cutest furry friends. As always we will be featuring our hardscape handiwork including a paver walk way, sitting wall, and cozy fire pit. Come and join us as we attempt to welcome spring back as early as possible! We'll have an assortment of spring perennials, trees and shrubs that will be sure to delight.

Each year Stonycreek Farm has the pleasure of building an exhibition garden at the annual Indiana Flower & Patio Show. We strive to create a wonderful and unique garden to fit the chosen theme of the year. We appreciate everyone who comes out to the show and visits us! Check out our photos from years past...

2013

This year we are featuring drought-resistant plants that can survive periods of little to no rainfall along with efficient drip-irrigation to conserve water. A garden shed has been fashioned from pallets for storage functionality and humble charm. Permeable pavers line the walkway, which are designed to control storm water, reduce runoff, and improve water quality by filtering pollutants in the substrata layers. Luxury and design does not have to suffer – beautiful furniture fashioned from willow branches offer comfort and design from a responsible, renewable resource. Metal scraps and junk are cut, bent, and molded into pleasing shapes for wonderful garden and patio ornaments. Discarded pieces of granite atop recycled telephone poles are used for lamps that burn odorless and smokeless oil, offering a calming and welcoming atmosphere for family and friends. A guilt-free garden awaits your exploration – discover that being “green” doesn’t mean giving up the comforts and amenities of home.
